Welcome to Kevin’s Mesquite SHOP
For more than 50 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with wood, turning natural materials into beautiful, lasting pieces.
Of all the woods I’ve worked with, mesquite is truly something special. Its rich character, incredible grain, strength, and natural beauty make every piece completely unique.
I specialize in creating custom mesquite furniture, including mantels, dining and coffee tables, benches, countertops, and one-of-a-kind pieces designed specifically for your home or space. If you can imagine it, chances are I can create it.
I love working with mesquite and bringing out the natural beauty that already exists in every piece of wood.
My goal is to build something that isn’t simply furniture, but a handcrafted piece you’ll be proud to own and enjoy for generations.
Have an idea in mind? Let me help you design and create your custom mesquite project today.

Our custom mesquite dining table is an absolute masterpiece.
“The wood's, immaculate grain, gorgeous book-matched slabs, live edges, rich finish, and uniquely complex design of the base come together into a gorgeous, congruent piece that highlights the natural character of the mesquite. The careful craftsmanship is clear through-and-through, from the mortise and tenon joints, hand-curved ends, and perfectly joined slabs. Kevin also has an eye towards ergonomics - he carefully thought through how to design the piece so it retains its beauty and strength while allowing the top slab to be removed from the base in the event we move homes. This piece will be an heirloom in our family for generations! Kevin clearly has a unique artistic style and true passion for woodworking. If you are looking for a showstopper, never-to-be replicated piece crafted with the highest quality, look no further.”

about
A LIFETIME OF craftmanship
I’ve spent my whole life working with my hands, and I love working with mesquite wood for its natural beauty, character, and uniqueness. I enjoy bringing out what’s already there and creating one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture, each with its own story.
For me, woodworking is about honoring the wood and creating something lasting by hand.
